A Conversation With Two Geniuses

A dear friend of mine did one of these with her versions of Ratigan and Basil bby, so I decided to do the same, seeing as I know a lot about my Ratigan, but not my poor Basil. So, without further ado...*wrestles them into the OC Chamber and sits them in the Chair of Input*

B: I say, is this completely necessary?
R: Speak for yourself, pipsqueak. *is chained up so he won't maul/molest Basil*

1: Hi! What's your real name and nickname?

B: I am Detective Sherringford Basil. Most call me Basil of Baker Street, or...*blushes* Sherry.
R: Professor James Ratigan. Miss Wings refers to me as Ratti. *eyes me* Which is annoying, by the way.
Me: Oh hush, you know you love it. *giggles* His thugs also call him Gov. Oh, and Sherry's name is not mine. It's Diane N. Tran's.

2: What's your gender?

Both: Male.

3: Interesting... what's your current age?

B: 37
R: 42

4: Uh huh. What's your favorite food?

B: Well, when I do remember to eat, I am fond of Mrs. Judson's cheese crumpets. And bananas.
R: I usually prefer plums or anything sweet.

5: And your favorite drink?

B: Tea, of course. Earl Grey.
R: Any kind of tea, and some champagne.

6: Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?

B: I have very little time with such nonsense. I am a confirmed bachelor. Most speculate that I fancy Mlle Relda, which is the furthest from the truth. I merely admire her intellect.
R: I am very much the same as the detective, but there is one woman I suppose I am enamored with.
B: You will keep your paws to yourself concerning her!
R: Hah, and you say you have no feelings for her. Look how adamantly you defend her.
B: *ruffled, refuses to dignify with response*

7: Aww! Have you two kissed yet?

B: I have kissed a few girls in my youth, but as of now, I don't have time for romance.
R: The Woman in question? Well, yes. On several occasions.
Me: Perv. 

8: Classic question! What's your favorite color?

B: What does this have to do with anything? Why have I been pulled away from my cases to answer such trivial questions?
Me: Just answer the question, Sherry-berry.
B: *blushes, fur ruffles* Please refrain from calling me that. *sighs* Very well. My favorite color is green.
R: I am partial to reds and dark purples.

9: Who's your favorite author?

B: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
R: Edger Allan Poe. Though, I suppose he would considered more of a poet than an author.

10: Now what's your biggest fear?

B: Letting down those I have sworn to protect.
R: I have nothing to fear other than fear itself.
Me: And heights.
R: Shut up.

11: *stifles a giggle* I'm not laughing *bursts out laughing* Sorry. Have an embarrassing experience in your past?

B: Plenty.
R: Details?
B: None that I'm sharing with you.
R: Hah, so boring, my dear.
Me: What about you, Fuzzbutt?
R: I conduct myself with grace and poise. I have no moments to speak of.
Me: Lies.
R: *smug*

12: Any Siblings?

B: A brother named Merrycroft.
Me: Also not mine.
R: No.

13: Almost, it's only twenty questions. Who's your hero?

B: Mr. Holmes.
R: I suppose I am supposed to say Moriarty, but I don't consider him a hero. Most incarnations of myself are such adorable amateurs.

14: Okay, who is your worst enemy? 

B: He's right next to me.
R: *nods at Basil*

15: What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?

B: That would never happen!
R: Rodents are generally supposed to avoid humans.

16: Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
 
B: Mr. Disney, you mean? Well, I suppose I would thank him for giving me life.
R: We all owe him quite a bit.

17: Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! WAT Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?

B: I wanted to be a detective since I was a boy.
R: I wanted to be a baker when I was young.

18: What's your worst nightmare?

Both: None of your business.

19: What's your lifelong dream?

B: To keep London safe.
R: I don't have one, but I would love to rule London one day. *smirk*

20: What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?

B: It has, I suppose. But I would have to look for more cases.
R: *evil snicker* Wouldn't you like to know?

21: Okay, where's your favorite place to relax?

B: My chair.
R: My study.

22: Favorite music?

Both: Opera.

23: Do you have any friends?

B: Dr. Dawson is one of my few friends.
R: Oh, I have several. *smirks* They're such good little workers too.
B: She said friends, not workers.
R: Same thing.
B: No, no it isn't. 

24: Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?

B: Solving cases. Which I ought to be doing right now. *gets up and leaves*
R: Oh, a little blackmail here, some empire-destroying there, and of course grand theft. *cackles* Now, would you kindly undo these chains? I have errands to run.
